Bandai Namco (バンダイナムコ) is a Japanese multinational conglomerate in the entertainment business, or an abbreviated name for the Bandai Namco Group or the group's holding company, Bandai Namco Holdings.

Bandai Namco (バンダイナムコ, Bandai Namuko) is a Japanese multinational conglomerate in the entertainment business, or an abbreviated name for the Bandai Namco Group or the group's holding company, Bandai Namco Holdings.

In 2005, toy company Bandai Co., Ltd. and game manufacturer Namco Limited merged their businesses to form Bandai Namco Holdings Inc.

As this company is a holding company, the game development business is referred to in the article Bandai Namco Entertainment and the toy and hobby business in the article Bandai.

The group underwent a reorganisation in April 2022, which changed the names and organisational structure of some of the group companies.

Tag Usage

On pixiv, the tag for works by both Bandai Namco Entertainment and Namco Bandai Games is used under the tag 'Bandai Namco', because 'Bandai Namco Entertainment' is too long as a tag and it is time-consuming to change it from the tag registration at 'Namco Bandai Games'.

On the other hand, the tags for former Namco works and former Banpresto works are usually dominated by 'Namco' and 'Banpresto'.

Perhaps because of the strong image of the Toys and Hobby business with regard to former Bandai works, there are not many 'Bandai' tags for game works.
